Refund and Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your Pooja Box purchase. If you’re not, here’s how returns and refunds work.

14-day return window

You may return any unopened, unused product in its original packaging within 14 days of receiving it, for a full refund of the product price (delivery charges are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error).

Items we cannot accept

  • Opened consumables such as incense sticks, oils, and ghee, for hygiene reasons.
  • Products that have been used in religious ceremonies (we are unable to resell consecrated items).
  • Items marked “final sale” on the product page.
  • Custom or personalised orders.

Damaged or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, or we sent the wrong item, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

How to return

  1. Email returns@poojabox.co.za with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We’ll send you a returns label and instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely and post it back within 7 days of receiving the returns label.
  4. Once we’ve received and inspected the return, we’ll process your refund within 5 business days.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are paid to the same bank account or method used for the original purchase. Bank transfer refunds typically reflect within 3–5 business days.

Consumer Protection Act

This policy is in addition to your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act, 2008. Nothing here limits those rights.
